Assistant Professor Azusa N. Hattori won the 7th Shiseido Female Researcher Science Grant
Assistant Professor Azusa N. Hattori, Department of Functional Nanomaterials and Nanodevices (Tanaka Lab.) was selected recipients of the 7th Shiseido Female Researcher Science Grant, which is aimed at fostering the development of female researchers to enable them to play a leading role in the natural sciences. The announcement was made on March 7, 2014, one day prior to International Women’s Day. The recipients will each receive a grant of 1 million yen from Shiseido.
Hattori is the first person in ISIR (the second person in Osaka Univ.) to receive the grant.
The title of the award-winning paper is “Development of photochromic properties on the three-dimensionally aligned strongly-correlated metal oxide nanostructures”
