Content of research

Achievement of design, synthesis, assembly, and construction of functional organic molecules, polymers, and biomolecules is conducted for development of new functional molecules and materials based on elucidation of photoelectronic function, molecular recognition, catalytic reaction, high-ordered structure, and combination of multi-functions.

1. Functional molecules and materials with modification of biomolecules by organic molecules
2. Development of environmentally benign process based on the immobilization of multifunctional organocatalysts
3. Photochemical formation of metal clusters and matal nanoparticles.
4. Asymmetric synthesis of chiral spiro-type ligands
