Content of research
Two main purposes of this group are the basic sciences toward the development of membrane transporter-oriented drugs and the application of beam science to medicine.
[ Current Research Programs ]
- Roles of bacterial xenobiotic exporters in the host-pathogen interactions (mainly using electron micrographic 3D tomography.
- Studies on the inhibition mechanisms of bacterial pathogenicity by xenobiotic exporter inhibitors.
- Application of quantum beams to medicine (Studies of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy with electron beams).
