Content of research

Two main purposes of this group are the basic sciences toward the development of membrane transporter-oriented drugs and the application of beam science to medicine.

[ Current Research Programs ]

1. Roles of bacterial xenobiotic exporters in the host-pathogen interactions (mainly using electron micrographic 3D tomography.
2. Studies on the inhibition mechanisms of bacterial pathogenicity by xenobiotic exporter inhibitors.
3. Application of quantum beams to medicine (Studies of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy with electron beams).
