Content of research

Our department aims to explore 1) bio-molecular devices via advanced nano-lithography and nanomeasurement techniques, 2) high-resolution imaging and manipulations of bio-molecules using scanning probe microscopy towards novel bio-mimic nanodevices. In addition, we study functional nanoelectronics of transition metal nano-oxides including nanorods and hetero-nanowires.

The object of this department is to research molecular-scale devices based on the function of single molecule . We are de veloping new techniques for the measurement of physical and chemical properties of single or several molecules.
