Content of research

Massive data are being accumulated in nanotechnology study along the development of experiment and measurement techniques. However, the fast extraction of meaningful knowledge from the massive data is difficult due to the limitation of human analyst’s ability. To address this issue, we develop methods to efficiently extract or estimate meaningful knowledge from the massive data by applying various reasoning and searching mechanisms.

Current Research Programs

  1. 1. Nano-technology knowledge discovery by synthesis of reasoning techniques and statistical mathematics.
  2. 2. Nano-technology knowledge discovery from massive structured data including graph structures
  3. 3. Industrial application of the developed techniques
