Devices We Aim to Develop

The products we aim to create will contribute to our society's health, safety and security

  1. 1.Health

  2. Health product examples include wearable sensory devices for EGG/brain waves, vision, hearing, body temperature, footstep counts, blood sugar level, blood pressure, pulse numbers and so on. These sensory tools will emit signals to, and receive from, hospitals and other medicare organizations so that there will be appropriate, quick and efficient diagnosis for better quality of life.

  1. 2.Safety

  2. At the personal level, safety products such as medicare aids, can be applied to non-human systems. There are many potential applications for this technology, for example, transparent displays in cars for safer navigation, rapid information transfer to parking lots for safer traffic control, and so on.

  1. 3.Security

  2. Security in a social sense can be assured by a variety of personal and social devices. Our emphasis will be on the information sciences that enable remote communications with devices to attain state-of-the-art security.
