Global Open Platform

Project 1, S-CtC, aims to create a research network with five European and one US institutions/universities to develop highly functional sensory devices for health, safety, and security. The ultimate goal of the project is to make these devices usable in our society through the use of systemic information technologies.

Project 2, S-BC, similarly aims to develop highly functioning sensory devices for health safety and security. This bilateral, international internship program with imec and its partner universities, will work in synergy with the S-CtC project by emphasizing the need to foster young researchers from across the globe.

To achieve our mission statement aims, SANKEN/ISIR is running two JSPS-funded projects. Through these projects, we communicate powerfully with external partner institutes and universities, both domestically and internationally.
