2nd imec HANDAI International Symposium (2) (joined with Symposium of SANKEN Brain Circulation Program supported by JSPS) was successively held in the afternoon on June 19, not in imec but in Holst Centre in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. This symposium was in a small scale aiming at reports of current joint-researches between SANKEN and imec, and SANKEN-Holst Centre performed by sending young researchers (PhD candidate & assistant professor) from SANKEN.  The symposium started from an introduction of Holst Centre by Dr.Bert (Managing Director of imec-NL) followed by the presentations by Dr. Uemura (imec) and Mr. Araki on their present researches, and discussions together with their supervisors, Drs. Iryna, Rajesh and Jan.  Totally 11 participants joined this meaningful symposium with a Lab. Tour.

(Symposium of SANKEN Brain Circulation Program)

2nd imec HANDAI International Symposium (1) (joined with Symposium of SANKEN Brain Circulation Program supported by JSPS) was held in the afternoon on June 18, following the 1st Conference (kick off conference) of SANKEN Core to Core Program held on June 17(all day) and on 18 (in the morning) at imec, Leuven, Belgium. After a welcome speech by Jo De Boeck, CTO &senior vice-president of imec and a plenary talk by Prof. K. Suganuma on SANKEN Brain Circulation Program, seven presentations on two technical sessions (Organic and transistor devices & More Moore and bio devices) were performed. The symposium successfully ended with total 35 participants. We would like to thank all the participants who shared the important time for exchanging information on the organic and bio devices fabrication together with information on Brain Circulation of SANKEN.
