My research interests
I have been interested in morphological evolution of solids in nonequilibrium processes,
such as thermal relaxation, crystal growth, and formation of nanostructures.
I have been experimentally investigating such issues using mostly scannning tunneling microscopy
and atomic force microscopy.
Recent research topics:
- Evolution of silicon microstructures by surface diffusion
- Relaxation of nanoscale structures on crystal surfaces
- Reaction dynamics at interfaces of nanascale structures.
