Introduction
Particle accelerators are widely used in various fields. We study on accelerators in view of production a new kind of light or a new kind of beams called as the quantum beam. Although accelerators are artificial, basic problems of physics appear such as non-linearity and collective motion when extreme performance is pursued. Since new kinds of light and the quantum beam expand the world that we can see with them, they can be used in various regions ranging from basic science to applications. In addition, the elementary process of light emission by relativistic electrons in itself is an interesting subject of study.
