About Myself

I am Ryotaro Aso, an Assistant professor at ISIR (SANKEN)/Osaka University. My research theme is analysis and characterization of molecular materials using electron microscopy. Currently, I work at Harvard University in the United States of America with the support of “Program for Advancing Strategic International Networks to Accelerate the Circulation of Talented Researchers.” At Harvard University, I work with the one of the world’s leading groups in the field of transmission electron microscopy. My motivation is to use the opportunity that this program offers to learn about various in-situ imaging techniques to study molecular materials by employing state-of-the-art transmission electron microscopy.
