About Myself
My name is Hiroyoshi Momida, an assistant professor in the Department of Theoretical Nanotechnology at the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research (ISIR), Osaka University. My research subject is the computational materials science, especially the first-principles electronic structure calculations. I am visiting Forschungszentrum Juelich (FZJ) in Germany from January 2017 with the support of the JSPS program. In FZJ, I am working as a member of the leading research group in the field of quantum theory of materials. During the one-year visit in FZJ, I would like to develop the understanding of advanced theoretical techniques for novel materials design and to advance collaborative researches.
