About Myself
I’m Tomonori Shibata, an assistant professor at Nakatani laboratory in the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research, Osaka University. My research background is organic synthesis, nucleic acid chemistry and chemical biology. Now I am visiting to University of Bordeaux from May 2018 with the support of ‘‘Program for Advancing Strategic International Networks to Accelerate the Circulation of Talented Researchers’’. I am working at chemical modification-encoded Systematic Evolution of Ligands by EXponential enrichment (SELEX) in Jean-Jacques Toulmé group. I would like to develop a new SELEX method to expand the chemical diversity of aptamers.
