　The purpose of this department is to develop methods for computational nanomaterials design and to apply the methods for the industrial applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology.

1. Development of the method for computational nanomaterials design and its industrial applications.
2. Development of quantum simulation method and its industrial applications.
3. Development of ab initio molecular dynamics simulation for nanomaterials and its industrial applications.
