This page provides information for media representatives on how to apply for filming and interviewing.

If you would like to cover SANKEN faculty members and researchers, sponsored symposiums, etc., or to take photographs of the exterior of the facility, please read the notes below and contact us using the inquiry form below.

Please note that it may be difficult to respond to your request or it may take some time for us to respond depending on the content of your inquiry.

Attention

  1. Please do so within the scope (time, place, etc.) that does not interfere with education and research.
  2. The following items are not permitted.
    ubmissions that are deemed to be offensive to the dignity of Osaka University or the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research.
    Those that use Osaka University or the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research for personal gain or commercial purposes.
    Submissions that include content that insults Osaka University, SANKEN, or the education and research conducted there.
    Any other content that is inappropriate for an educational institution.
  3. In granting permission, conditions necessary for the preservation and proper management and operation of the premises may be imposed, and in the event of management problems, etc., Osaka University reserves the right to cancel permission or request that coverage be suspended after permission has been granted.
  4. It will take time to coordinate with the researcher or person in charge, etc., whom you wish to interview, so we would appreciate it if you could apply well in advance.

Precautions for interviews and filming

  • Take photographs in such a way that no one other than the subject/object of the interview will be seen in the images.
  • Do not enter buildings without permission.
  • Do not conduct interviews or filming in a manner that would invade the privacy of faculty, staff, or students.
  • Do not damage the educational and research environment or place a psychological burden on faculty, staff, or students.
  • Do not block traffic for the purpose of filming or photographing.
  • Follow any other instructions given by the university's staff.
  • Before publishing any part of an article in which you speak, please ask for confirmation of the content from the person in question.

When your article is published in a newspaper, magazine, book, or other media, please send the article to the Public Relations Office, and in the case of the website, please report the URL of the article and the date it was published.
