How to enter SANKEN

SANKEN is Japan's leading comprehensive science and engineering research institute, conducting cutting-edge scientific research in the fields of information and quantum science, materials and beam science, biological and molecular science, and nanotechnology.

The institute aims to solve social issues and create new industries through highly original and world-leading research, with a priority on the growth of all institute members.

SANKEN faculty members are in charge of the Graduate Schools of Science, Engineering, Fundamental Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Information Science, and Bioscience and Biotechnology at the University of Osaka, and the graduate school you will be admitted to depends on the laboratory of your choice. To become a graduate student affiliated with SANKEN, you must first decide on the laboratory of your choice, consult with your academic advisor about which graduate school you should apply to, and apply to each graduate school.
