On August 7th, 2024, students from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University, China, visited SANKEN. A joint seminar was held with the Department of Quantum Beam Physics at SANKEN. During the seminar, two students, Wenhui Ma and Dongheyu Zhang, from Tsinghua University, presented an overview of their department and their research on microwave plasma and laser-sustained plasma. Following their presentations, Associate Professor Zhan JIN from Hosokai Lab gave an introduction to SANKEN and its research on laser wakefield acceleration.
Although the exchange was brief, it was highly valuable, fostering future international collaboration, joint research, and student exchange opportunities.
