Researchers from Korea(KETI) Visited Our Institute SANKEN.

On July 2, 2024, three researchers from Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI), including the Director, visited our institute SANKEN and toured the facilities. They first had a meeting with Professor Fujitsuka, the Vice-Director, and Specially Appointed Professor Ogura from the SANKEN Strategy Office, followed by tours of the Comprehensive Analysis Center and the Tanaka’s Laboratory. During the meeting, there was a lively exchange of ideas about the research initiatives and current activities of the institute, as well as an introduction to the research being conducted in both countries. At the Center, the visitors were introduced to the research facilities and technologies, and had the opportunity to observe ongoing research activities up close. Detailed explanations were provided, particularly about the air conditioning management of the electron microscope room. Next, they visited the Tanaka’s Laboratory, where they observed many cutting-edge research activities. A presentation on PLD related to the equipment used for thin film fabrication was given in the laboratory. The researchers from KETI were keen to ask questions and exchange opinions. Through this visit, it is expected that the research exchange between KETI and our institute will be further strengthened. We will continue to promote international research collaborations in the future.
