General Incorporated Foundation,
The University of Osaka Research Association of Industry and Science (RAIS)

[Overview]

The Association serves as a vital interface between the SANKEN (Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research; ISIR) at The University of Osaka and related institutions, and the industrial sector, promoting industry-academia collaboration.
In considering the industries of the 21st century, collaboration among industry, government, and academia is expected to become even more crucial than before. Based on this concept and orientation, it is essential to establish mechanisms that encourage the creation of new industries. This requires strengthening partnerships among industry, government, and academia, while also developing new collaborative approaches with commercialization in mind.
The Association strives to realize genuine industry-academia collaboration by broadly disseminating research seeds and achievements from SANKEN and related institutions, and by actively undertaking projects that bridge the gap between research and industry.
