Q1．What do you do?

 I am working on the research and development of a spectroscopic sensor device that can detect and quantify various chemical substances using light, and working with various engineers from inside and outside the company, including optical and mechanical engineers. I perform spectroscopic measurements, spectrum analysis, and develop measurement algorithms for prototype devices.

Q2．What have you applied to your current work from what you learned at Nagai Lab, and how has it been utilized.

 The biggest thing is the skill to discuss in English. I often have discussions with overseas researchers in my work, and close discussions I used to have at Nagai Lab help me a lot now. In particular, it has been helpful to learn spectroscopic discussions including the way of thinking at Nagai Lab.

 I believe that Nagai Lab is an environment where you can expand your knowledge and way of thinking to various viewpoints. I hope you enjoy in there.
