Professor Kiwamu Takemoto, an alumnus of Nagai Laboratory, takes up the position of Professor at Mie University!
Recruitment: Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Fellowship
It's been a while since I've seen you all. I am Kiwamu Takemoto, an alumnus of Nagai Laboratory. I am pleased to announce the opening of my new laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry, School of Medicine at Mie University on April 1st. I had been focusing on the acquisition of memory by using the basic technology of the CALI method developed at Nagai Laboratory.
I aim to strongly promote the development of new innovative technologies related to optical manipulation and imaging, such as genome-wide molecular manipulation, in order to elucidate the memory storage mechanism by a unique approach at Mie University.
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic graduate students and postdocs (postdocs are welcome to apply for the JSPS PD). Mie University has a full range of common equipment and analysis services, and can provide an excellent research environment that will satisfy even the most passionate person. In addition, Tsu City, where our laboratory is located,
has a good living environment and a comfortable life where you can feel the open sky!
Please feel free to contact Takemoto (takemotk" @ "doc.medic.mie-u.ac.jp)

I look forward to the day when I can do research with you!
